創業された経緯を教えてください。

18才で来日し、30才を境に一気にパイロットの操縦教育証明まで取得、その後プライベートジェットパイロットとして様々な顧客と世界の空を体験し、2016年にスカイアートジャパンを設立しました。

旅客機のパイロット不足は世界的に深刻化しており、航空会社は乗客をコクピットへの立入制限を強化しています。フライトシミュレーターを通して多くの人たちに航空機を飛ばすことの素晴らしさを知ってほしい、そしてパイロットを目指そうとする第一歩になるのではないかと考えました。大人の方はもちろん、これからは特に若い世代に、空の魅力を伝えたい。そんなたくさんの気持ちを込めて、フライトシミュレーター体験施設を開業しました。

At the age of 18, I have shifted to Japan.
Moving forward, when I was 30, I have undergone pilot training and achieved all the qualifications including the CFI license. On successful completion, flew private jets and travelled the globe carrying a variety of passengers. In 2016, I have built Skyart JAPAN.

The industry is facing a serious pilot shortage. Also, the airlines have strict policies making it impossible for the passengers to enter the cockpit. Therefore, I came up with an idea to let the public feel the excitement of how it is like to fly a plane through flight simulation. I also believe that by doing so, it will act as a step for many to aspire the dream of becoming a pilot. Not only adults, but I want the young generation too to experience the uniqueness of flying.

インターネットが発達した現代では行きたい場所の情報や映像を手軽に見られる時代となったが、この地球上を自分で自由に世界中を旅してみたい、そんな想いにかられたことが誰でもあるのではないでしょうか。大人になったらパイロット、そんな夢を描いていた人もいるだろう。私たちは、航空ファン・マニアの方や現役パイロットの方だけでなく、特に未来あるお子様には大型ジェット旅客機をいつでも身近に感じ、触れることの機会を積極的に提供してまいります。

The introduction of Internet has made it a lot easier for people to gather information and visualize the places they want to visit. However, it yet remains a dream for the majority to travel freely all over the world around the globe. To become a pilot in the future, has been a dream for many even to date. Through our service, what seems unrealistic to fly a big airliner can now be felt not only by the Aviation enthusiasts and pilots themselves, but also to the kids specially who aspire to become pilots.

私自身、最初は28歳の時にハワイオアフ島のホノルル国際空港にある民間の飛行学校で事業用操縦士までの免許を自費で取得し、最終的にはヨーロッパのナショナルフラッグを受験しボーイング737や747の免許を取得、国際線勤務を経て最終的には試験管（チェッカー・IOS）まで取得しました。

人はどうしても楽な道を選んでしまうものです。楽して生きたほうが良いという気持ちもわかりますが、逆境を乗り越えた先にあるものはもっと楽しいものだと思っております。

私のケースが特別なのではなく、パイロットを目指す強い意志がある方であれば、誰にでも開かれたゲートなのです。諦めない気持ちを持ち続けて、夢に向かっていって下さい。

I myself, at the age of 28, went to a flight school located in the Oahu Islands, Hawaii. I was based at Honolulu International airport where I had self paid my training and achieved my commercial pilots License. Proceeding forward, I applied to a regional airline in Europe and upon successful hiring, I had undergone the training required to get my additional rating on the B737 and the B747. After I was type-rated I operated International routes, and finally upgraded to being a flight examiner / checker within the airline.

It’s a tendency for people to choose an easy path for living, which I do understand. However I do think that there is a sense of enjoyment which is unique that can be felt after being successful when you put in a lot of effort and hard work on something that you wanted for so long.

My case is nothing special. If you have a strong desire to become a pilot, I believe it can be pursued by anyone. Do not forget to be consistent even during the hard times and I can guarantee that your dreams, whatever it be will become true one day.
